What does it mean to be a good business woman? This month at The Well we explore the pressures placed on women to be many things- empathetic, kind, nice (whatever that means?), compassionate, strong and so much more- and how these pressures are often amplified in business. We want to hash out the idea that being a good person in business can mean many things, but what if we start with the idea that in order to be a good business woman we must first be good to ourselves? Of course we often strive to be empathetic and kind but what if in pushing ourselves to be some ideal of this, we are hindering our own wellbeing? We will hear from some more amazing local women about how they have experienced pressure to be a certain kind of woman in business and their journey through that challenge.
We will come together to connect, share a snack and a delicious non-boozey drink. After a relaxing mingle, we will settle in to hear two amazing local women in business (TBA) talk about their journey and the pressures of being a woman in business.
Your ticket includes food and a beverage or two (details on what this is coming soon but rest assured that all food requirements will be catered for- GF, LF, V, VG etc- don’t worry, we gotchu girl)
Arrive at 6pm, on Thursday November 15th, for a chance to meet some of the other awesome women in attendance and grab a snack. Our speakers kick off at 6:50pm!
We can’t wait to see you at The Well.
